In July, in response to drinking water contamination events in the remote community of Borroloola, the Incubator hosted a workshop with partners from the Northern, Central, and NSW Land Councils, the Healthabitat network, scientists from the Global Water Institute (GWI, UNSW), and others researchers, regarding a possible program of response. Fieldwork in the Northern Territory in October 2019 followed this workshop, in which Liam Grealy and Kirsty Howey discussed with Borroloola community members their interest in a visit from GWI scientists in early 2019.
