On September 4, at the 4S conference in New Orleans, the HFH Incubator hosted the panel “Permeable Housing and Intersecting Infrastructures”. Local water expert and collaborator, Aron Chang, chaired a panel that featured wonderful papers by Alison Kenner, Paola Villegas, Moritz F Fürst and Alain Bovet, and Liam Grealy. Together, the papers sought to think through the pervious and permeable edges of housing, both in infrastructural and social terms, and with regard to the maintenance and repair work required to hold things together.
