The map ‘Drinking Water Regulation in the Northern Territory of Australia’ represents differentiated regimes of attention and protection for drinking water across NT communities. It is the result of research into water contamination in remote contexts and who is legally responsible when water supply is inadequate or water quality does not meet the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines. The map can be downloaded here and analysis describing legal water protections is available here. Thank you to Billee McGinley for your excellent design work. We expect research contextualising the map to be published soon.
