Miriam Charlie’s photographic exhibition, “The Promise of Housing”, launched at Tin Sheds Gallery on Thursday evening April 7th, followed by an artist talk at Friday lunchtime. Charlie’s polaroid photography details Borroloola housing and the need for greater repairs and maintenance. Liam Grealy coordinated the exhibition, which included materials from the NT and Commonwealth archives contextualising the need for greater government support for remote housing as a long-term problem.
